Status and uptime
Each home page is loaded every minute. A site counts as down only when two tries in a row fail.
Google PageSpeed scores
Google's Lighthouse test, run on each home page once a day. 90 to 100 is what Google calls good.
Page size
Security
Every site is HTTPS-only and sends the six security headers browsers use to block common attacks. Mozilla's HTTP Observatory grades the setup once a day.

These numbers come from your own browser, right now. It asks each site for a tiny file six times: the first try opens the connection, and the result is the middle of the other five.
Incidents
How these numbers are measured
- Status and uptime
- Every minute, a Cloudflare Worker loads each home page from Cloudflare's network in eastern North America. A check passes when the page answers with HTTP 200 and shows the business name. A failed check is tried again 3 seconds later, and a site only counts as down when both tries fail. The www address is checked every 10 minutes and must redirect to the main one.
- Response time
- The time until the first byte of the page reaches the checker. The checker runs inside Cloudflare's network, so this leaves out the trip to your device; the live test above measures that part. There's no ping here: Workers can't send one, and a ping to Cloudflare only reaches the nearest data center.
- PageSpeed and page size
- Google PageSpeed Insights runs Lighthouse on each home page once a day, as a phone and as a computer. Page size is Lighthouse's total download for the home page on a phone.
- Security
- The six security headers are read on every check. Mozilla's HTTP Observatory scans each site once a day, and its grade links to the full report.
- Dates and times
- Times are in your time zone. The daily uptime bars use UTC days.
